Celestia
The voyage
Built at Bulukumba, crewed by seventeen, cooked for by a Michelin trained chef.
Celestia carries seventeen crew for fourteen guests, which is the highest ratio in this fleet and the reason she costs what she does. More than one person aboard is working on your day. What that produces is not ceremony but absence of friction: the tender is ready before you ask, the dive gear is rinsed and stowed without discussion, and the galley runs to a Michelin trained chef who provisions for what fourteen people actually want rather than for a fixed menu. Forty five metres, built at Bulukumba in South Sulawesi by the yards that have been making these hulls for generations, with seven staterooms and deck space on several levels. Her range takes in Komodo, Raja Ampat and the Spice Islands. The sailing is good and the reefs are the reason most people come, but the thing guests mention afterwards is usually how little they had to arrange.

Cabins and facilities
Spaces
A 45 metre phinisi built by hand in Bulukumba in 2023 and finished inside by a designer who usually does resorts. Seven staterooms, fourteen guests, seventeen crew, and a kitchen run to a Michelin trained chef’s menu. Here is how she is arranged.

The Staterooms
Seven staterooms, fourteen guests
Seven en suite staterooms: a master on the main deck with panoramic windows, two owner’s suites and four deluxe cabins. Custom furniture, a toiletry line made for the boat, and interiors by a designer whose other work is resorts. Nobody draws straws.

Open Decks
Nothing between you and the horizon
Four decks, main to rooftop, with wide open spaces for sunbathing by day and stargazing by night. Big cushions at the bow that the children claim first. A rooftop for the sunset and the sky after it. Pick a level.

Saloon & Dining Room
The comforts of home, at sea
A lounge with panoramic windows, a dining area on the main deck that seats all fourteen with a view at every chair, and interiors that read like a good hotel rather than a boat. Cold towels appear when you return. So does a drink.

Dining on Board
From the galley
A menu designed by an executive chef trained in Michelin kitchens, cooked three times a day by the two chefs on board. Indonesian at its core, familiar when you want it, and hot chocolate after a night dive. Dietary requirements handled without fuss.

Wellness at Sea
Yoga, massage, or neither
A masseuse on board, yoga on deck in the morning, a workout for anyone who insists. The rest of the day is for the water, the sun and a book on the bowsprit. Nobody will check whether you did any of it.

Diving & Water Toys
Out, and back
Dive masters on board, Nitrox on tap, and courses completed at sea for anyone starting out. Snorkelling, paddleboards, kayaks, water skis and a wakeboard for the surface. Komodo, Raja Ampat and the Spice Islands below it.

Beachside Escapes
Dinner, moved ashore
A private beach set up by the crew with nobody else for miles, a barbecue as the sun goes, and a performance by the crew after it that guests still write in about. No other guests. No closing time.
