The voyage

A thirty one metre hull configured for two. The rest of the boat is just yours.

Alexa is the same size as the boats in this fleet that sleep ten. She carries two. Every deck, every shaded corner, every place to sit and watch the water belongs to you and nobody else, and the crew works to that number rather than to a manifest. This is the part that is difficult to convey in photographs and obvious within an hour of boarding. The route runs through Komodo, into coves that only take one boat at a time and beaches where the tender lands and then leaves. Meals are cooked by a chef provisioning for two, which means the kitchen can actually follow what you feel like eating rather than what a group of fourteen agreed on. There is no schedule to keep pace with and no one else's plan to accommodate. That is what the rate buys.

Cabins and facilities

Spaces

A former cargo phinisi, rebuilt in 2013 around a single idea: one cabin, two guests, nothing shared. Aged teak, tinted glass, silk rugs and a crew who outnumber you comfortably. Here is how she is arranged.

The Cabin

The Cabin

One cabin, two guests

One master cabin on the main deck, en suite, with a private balcony and nobody on the other side of the wall. For the nights that call for it, a bed under the stars on the upper deck. Both are yours. So is everything else.

Upper Deck

Upper Deck

Nothing between you and the horizon

Sunbeds, an open air dining table and an open navigation platform where the captain will let you pretend. By night the deck turns into the second bedroom, with the southern sky for a ceiling and seagulls for an alarm clock.

Living Room & Lounges

Living Room & Lounges

Inside, for once

A living and dining room on the main deck, a TV lounge beside it, antique art on the walls and silk rugs underfoot. One deck down, a lounge with a library for the afternoons that get too hot. Nobody else's taste to argue with.

Dining on Board

Dining on Board

From the galley

A chef whose specialty is seafood, sometimes caught by you that afternoon. Dinner wherever the evening lands. Crystal glasses, because why not. The bar is open at any hour, on any beach, under any star you point at.

Spa

Spa

Unlimited, and they mean it

A spa therapist on board from a team that has won the World Luxury Spa Awards, with treatments designed for this boat and adjusted to the two of you. Massages are unlimited. Nobody has yet found the limit.

Beachside Escapes

Beachside Escapes

Dinner, moved ashore

A seafood barbecue on an empty beach as the sun goes, white cushions and antique rugs on the sand, candles and a bonfire for after. A bottle from the bar comes too. No other guests. No closing time.
