Padar Island
TREKKING & SUNSETS
Padar Island is a popular destination located between Rinca and Komodo islands, known for its 3 coloured beaches. From the 360° view at the top, you’ll see a pink beach, a white beach and a black beach, all from the same island. Steep hills, breathtaking landscapes, and gigantic bays make it a true “Neverland”. We love Padar for a sunset or sunrise trek.
Manta Point
SNORKELING WITH MANTA RAYS
Manta Point is home to the longest reef in the National Park and features shallow dive and snorkeling sites. It gets its name from the many manta rays that gather there all year long, making it the perfect place to observe these gentle giants. These magnificent creatures can grow up to 6m wide and are harmless to humans. To get up close to one will be a once in a lifetime experience.
Pink Beach
RELAXING ON THE BEACH
Famous for its strong pink coloured sand and sparkling turquoise waters, Pink Beach is one of the most stunning and unique beaches.
Komodo Island
VISIT KOMODO DRAGONS
Named after the giant lizard living in its hills, the island is the biggest island in Komodo National Park. Less visited than Rinca due to its remoteness, the dragons thrive, with an estimated population of 1000, along with Sumba deers, water buffalos, wild horses, and many different snake and bird species. You can visit these dragons safely with the local guides.
Gili Lawa Darat
RELAX & ENJOY
Gili Lawa Darat has a large, almost closed-off bay located in the heart of Komodo island. Highly protected from the swell and winds, it is perfect for water sports such as kayaking and stand-up paddle. It is one of our favourite spots in the park to anchor and spend the day hanging out and enjoying the waters.
Mesa Island
CULTURAL EXPERIENCE
Mesa Island is an authentic cultural experience and a unique opportunity to visit the local Bajau community who still live very traditionally in this small fisherman village.
Rinca Island
TREKKING & KOMODOS
Rinca Island is a trekking island and home to the largest population of Komodo dragons. There are a variety of trails to choose ranging from 1-3 hours, and while wandering around looking for the ancient animals, you will be guided by a professional ranger.
Sebayur Island
RELAXING SNORKEL
Sebayur Island is a beautiful spot known for magnificent diving. Expect pristine ocean, lively coral and calm swim-able waters.
Kalong Island
SPECTACLE OF BATS
Kalong Island is a small beautiful island, but rather more known from afar. It is the setting for the spectacle of bats that come alive at sunset. Look onto Kalong Island when the sun starts to set and see thousands of bats flying overhead.
Turtle Point
SWIM WITH TURTLES
Officially called Siabar Besar, but also known as Turtle Point, this is “The City of Turtles”. It’s the best dive spot to see and swim with many turtles in calm, pristine waters.
Shot Gun
THRILLING SNORKEL
Probably our favourite dive and snorkeling spot, Shot Gun is incredible and exciting. It features a drift that “shotguns” you through the water. Simply float and get carried by the currents through beautiful reefs while observing all the marine life – including reef sharks if you’re lucky!
Sand Bank
PARADISE BEACH
An absolutely stunning small sand bank in the middle of the ocean, this spot is really the definition of island paradise. We love to have a picnic aperitivo here.
