Around the stay

Spaces

Twenty townhouses on a lane in Umalas where the rice fields start where the tarmac ends. Each one is two floors, with its own plunge pool below and roof terrace above, and one shared room between all twenty for moving, breathing and sitting still.

Living Room

SIZED LIKE A HOME

The ground floor is one open room, sized like a home rather than a hotel suite. Sofa, table, kitchen, glass onto the pool. Nothing to walk around and nothing to lower your voice for.

Kitchen

NO ONE IS COUNTING

Fully equipped, properly organised, and yours for as long as you stay. Slow breakfasts, a night in with the market haul from Alive, or nothing at all because the warung at the end of the lane is right there.

Bedrooms

UP, OR UP AND DOWN

The one bedroom townhouses sleep upstairs, away from the daytime rooms. The two bedrooms put one bed up and one down, so two people can keep two schedules. Natural materials, quiet air conditioning, and mornings that start when you say.

Bathrooms

WATER THAT WORKS

Warm stone, water pressure that works, and a window for the morning light. Showers are for taking your time, not for getting out of the way. Towels are the heavy kind.

Plunge Pool

TWENTY POOLS, NO QUEUE

Every townhouse has its own, so there are no loungers to claim and no hour to avoid. Laps at seven, a float at three, a cold drink on the edge at six. Twenty pools, none of them shared.

Roof Terrace

THE TOP FLOOR IS AN OPINION

The top floor has no roof on purpose. Coffee at sunrise with the rice fields going gold, drinks at sunset with them going dark. Every townhouse has one, so the view is yours alone.

Stretchr comes to the house. A practitioner moves you through a full assisted stretch on the deck, which is what a body wants after sixteen hours in economy. Book it for the morning after you land.

Aqua Bike

IN YOUR POOL

A bike that lives underwater. Pedal in your own pool for the cardio without the sweat, the heat or anyone watching. Rented by the day and set up before you get in. Private pools only.

Home Gym

Weights, a mat, a bench and bands, delivered to your door so the morning session happens before the coffee instead of after a scooter ride. Ask when you book; it stays for your whole stay.

A scooter at the gate from the day you arrive, with helmets, a full tank and the paperwork done. Canggu, Berawa and the beach are all easier on two wheels. Book it with the room.
