A Stitch in Time: The Building’s Rich History
The story of OXO The Factory begins decades ago, when the building served as a bustling sewing factory—a hub of creativity and industry. Here, skilled hands laboured tirelessly, producing garments that bolstered the local economy and left a legacy of craftsmanship. As time passed, the factory’s doors closed, leaving the building as a silent relic of a bygone era.
Yet the essence of creativity and hard work that once defined this space never faded. Recognising its potential, we decided to breathe new life into the building, and launched OXO Workland—a co-working space where ideas flourished and businesses thrived. But our vision didn’t end there.
Inspired by the historical significance and potential of the space, we decided to transform the magical old factory once again. We embraced its industrial roots and transformed it into OXO The Factory—a venue that honours its past while meeting the needs of the present.
Why “The Factory”?
In our latest evolution, we rebranded OXO Workland to OXO The Factory. The name pays homage to the building’s industrial heritage and its previous life as a sewing factory. But it’s more than just a name—it’s a concept. “The Factory” signifies a place where ideas are crafted, connections are sewn, and events are realised with the same meticulous attention to detail that characterised the garments once made here. It’s a space where creativity meets industry, and tradition meets innovation.

Since its transformation, OXO The Factory just had its first major event, ICP Chain Fusion which was attended by over 150 crypto ethusiasts and VIPs from the tech industry, leaving a unique mark on the venue’s transformative begining.
The raw, industrial charm of The Factory provided the ideal backdrop for meaningful discussions, networking, and collaboration.
Aside from hosting events, OXO The Factory is also the perfect gallery space—as seen during a show gallery for one of our own projects, OXO The Residences, last June.
