At OXO, we say we care about Bali and want to make a positive impact on the environment, but the difference is we actually act on it. Here’s how we’re going to make an impact in the three main areas of sustainability.
Since our beginning, we’ve already been taking steps to reduce our carbon footprint and increase energy efficiency, but we’re striving for much more. Firstly, our plan moving forward is to transition to renewable energy sources and by 2030, we aim to power significant parts of our operations with sustainable energy.
“We believe that sustainability is not just a goal, but a mindset that should guide our decisions and actions every day. By building tomorrow today with sustainable practices, we can create a better future for all”
Johannes Weissenbaeck , CEO of OXO Group Indonesia
The second area is infrastructure development and innovation. This is a key part to making a lasting impact, and we are committed to making most of our properties even more environmentally friendly. We’ll be promoting sustainable cities and communities, doing our part by creating sustainable housing and green spaces, leading to a better quality of life for everyone.
Last but not least, let’s talk about waste. OXO is also dedicated to practicing responsible consumption and production, with decreasing waste and promoting recycling and reuse efforts. By 2030, we’re aiming to reduce our waste by great 50%.
On our journey to making our visions a reality, we very carefully choose to work with partners and collaborators who all share these common goals. With like-minded and driven partners, we are committed to contribute to a better Bali by 2030.
“At OXO Group Indonesia, sustainability is not just a buzzword, it’s a way of life. By pioneering sustainable practices in Bali, we hope to create a ripple effect that will inspire others to join us on this journey towards a brighter, more sustainable future.”
Ananda Putra, Sustainability Manager of OXO Group Indonesia
