OVERVIEW
The co-working space manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shared workspace facility, ensuring that the space is clean, safe, and efficiently managed.
What you will be doing:
- Managing day-to-day operations, including opening and closing the space, monitoring access, and handling any tenant issues or concerns.
- Overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of the space, including liaising with contractors and service providers as required.
- Responding to tenant inquiries and requests, providing customer service, and maintaining positive relationships with tenants.
- Managing tenant accounts, including handling rent payments and invoicing.
- Ensuring that the space is properly staffed, hiring and training employees as needed.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the space.
- Developing and executing marketing and promotional initiatives to attract new tenants and retain existing ones.
- Managing the budget and financial reporting for the space.
- Staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices in the co-working industry.
- Identifying and addressing any safety or security concerns in the space.
The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach are also important, while a background in hospitality, facilities management, or related field would be an advantage. Knowledge of relevant software and technology used in co-working spaces, such as access control systems, property management software, and point-of-sale systems, is also preferred.
